Day 01 : Leh - Chumathang - Tso-Moriri ………..230 kms

After early breakfast proceed to Tso-Moriri lake enroute visiting Upshi, Chumathang village with its hot sulphur springs and monastery. Thereafter crossing Mahe bridge drive towards the Tso-Moriri lake. The lake is pearl shaped about 7 kms wide and 26 kms long containing huge deposits of minerals and serving a vast breeding ground for rare bird species. Overnight and meals in the camp near the lake.

Day 02: In Tso-Moriri

In Tso- Moriri After breakfast visit Korzok village, situated at 15000 feet / 4572m, with about 12-houses and a gompa appearing like a mirage among the barren hills, is the only permanent settlement in this whole area, otherwise the region is inhabited only by nomadic chang-pa herds people who live in tents all the year round. These barren hills support a little population of wild life. The common among them to be spotted is the Kyang, the wild ass of Ladakh and Tibet plateaux. Meals and overnight at camp near lake.

Day 03: Korzok - Leh ………………240 kms

After early breakfast drive back to Leh enroute passing through Puga valley following a rough track over the Polokangka-la (16500 feet/ 5030 m) are two lakes Startsapuk - Tso (fresh water lake) and the Tso-kar (Salt water lake), arrive Leh, late in the evening after crossing over the Tanglangla pass.
